ICE is an acronym for in case of an emergency. If you or one of your loved ones was in an accident or had a medical emergency ICE is a hand way to help you get notified.
There are a few ways to do this.
- Enter new numbers in your cell phone with and ICE prefix and then the person’s name and telephone number. Sometimes paramedics and
emergency room personnel will look in your cell phone under ICE to see if you have an emergency contact number in your cell phone. - There is also an app that is available to help in case of emergencies.
- Another way you can help Paramedics and or emergency room personnel is to have a card close to or attached to your regular identification card like a driver’s license.
